Identifies several early immigrants with the name Dubbs, Dupps or other variations. Appears to concentrate on the descendants of Anya Dups, daughter of Hans Dups. Hans was born 30 December 1718 in Affoltern, Switzerland and he emigrated in 1743. He married Barbara and had ten children. Their daughter, Anya, married Jacob Gassert. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania.

Description
Johan Philip Braun (1697-1767), son of Johann Jost Braun, was born in Udenheim, Hessen, Germany. He immigrated to New York in 1709 with his family. He later settled in Pennsylvania. His wife, Elisabeth Magdalena Losch (1699-1763), was the daughter of John Balthaser Losch and Susanna Phillippina Gerina. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Ontario, Iowa, Minnesota, and elsewhere.
