Description
Pierre Butin (1695-1762), Huguenot son of Nicolas Butin and Elisabeth Tancre, fled from France to The Netherlands in 1685, and married twice. His son, Jean (Jannis) Butin (1743-1813), married twice, and in 1793 immigrated from The Netherlands to Cazenovia, New York. Descendants and relatives and their ancestors lived in New York, New England, Ohio, Iowa, Washington and elsewhere. Includes ancestors in The Netherlands and France.
