Description
The Gerry Circuit of the Methodist Episcopal Church became the Sinclairville Circuit in 1853. This circuit became the Sinclairville Methodist Episcopal Church. In the 1800's this congregation included residents of Gerry, Charlotte, and Sinclairville, along with a few from other contiguous locations.

Description
John Keen was born ca. 1578 in London, England. He married Martha (surname unknown) in England and they were the parents on seven children. John and Martha left Southampton, England 11 April 1638 with five of their children and immigrated to America aboard the ship "Confidence". They arrived in Boston and settled in Hingham, Massachusetts. Descendants lived primarily in Maine and Massachusetts.

Description
Elbridge Gerry, signer of the Declaration of Independence from Massachusetts, was born 17 July 1744 at Marblehead, Massachusetts, the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Greenleaf Gerry. He married Ann Thompson (1765-1849), the daughter of James and Catharine (Walton) Thompson, 12 January 1786. They had nine children. He died 23 Nov. 1814 in Washington, D.C. Descendants lived in Massachusetts, District of Columbia, New York and elsewhere.

Thomas Gerry of Fitchburg and Thomas Gerry of Leominster were not the same person although both were minute-men who aswered the Lexington Alarm in 1775. Thomas of Fitchburg was in the Fitchburg Company and Thomas of Leominster in the Leominster County. Lt. Giuseppe Da Rin Sordin (ca.1850-ca.1898) married Maria Antonia Martini about 1880, immigrated about 1885 to Hurley, Wisconsin (sending for his family in 1889), and anglicized the surname to Darin. Descendants lived in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Nebraska, Texas and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.

Joseph Killgore, son of John Kilgour and Helen Litster, was born 6 July 1701 in Markinch, Fife, Scotland. He married Penelope Treworgy (Trueworthy) (b. 1694) 17 January 1720/21 in Kittery, Maine. They had eight children. He died 2 May 1764 in York, Maine. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Maine.

Ellsworth E. Gerry was born 4 February 1863 in Laporte, Indiana. His parents were Waite Gerry and Esther Craig. His family moved to Missouri in 1866 and then to Ventura, California in 1873. He married Marion Arlina Calkins 7 January 1891. They had ten children. Ellsworth died in 1931. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in California.
