Noel Stanley Jacobs was born 23 December 1898 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. His parents were Edward Henry Jacobs (1871-1914) and Rosina Florence Gidley (1874-1940). His family lived in China for many years. He married Dora Evelyn Bogomolsky 1 December 1923. He died 10 May 1977 in New Milton, Hampshire.

Levi Pittman, son of Benjamin Pittman, was born 11 September 1830. He married Susanna Gidley (1838-1928), daughter of Charles Gidley and Bathsheba Kelley, in 1856 in Crawford County, Ohio. They had seven children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts and Ohio.

Isaac De Riemer emigrated from Holland to New Amsterdam, New York. He married Lysbet Grevenraet in about 1640 and they had four children. Lysbet married twice after Isaac's death. She died in about 1687. It is probable that the De Riemers' ancestors in Holland were descendants of French Huguenot immigrants to Holland. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Wisconsin, Colorado and elsewhere.
