Gustaf Fredrik Johannson (later Fred Wilson) was born 27 February 1842 in Stora Karr, Sweden. His parents were Johan Henrik Olsson and Christina Elisabeth Andreasdotter. He married Charlotta Louise Stryker in 1879 in The Dalles, Oregon. He died in1924 in Yuba City, California.

John Wesley Melton (1854-1934) married Louisa Ann Buffalo about 1877, and moved from Missouri to Batson, Arkansas in 1896/1897. Descendants lived in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and elsewhere. Some descendants became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, living in Arkansas and elsewhere.

John Hampton (ca. 1740-ca. 1702) joined the Quaker movement in Scotland in 1669. He married four times and was the father of at least nine children, 1668-1702. Thomas Roden (ca. 1732/1735-1807/1809) and four of his brothers moved (probably from Virginia) to South Carolina between 1750 and 1760. His son, Jeremiah (1764-1851), served in the Revolutionary War, and married Susannah Kirkland in 1784. They moved to Kentucky, Tennessee, and finally to DeKalb County, Alabama. Descendants lived in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas and elsewhere.
