Description
Benjamin Gist (b. 1728) was born in Lunenburg County, Virginia. He married Mary Jarrett and they had at least nine children. They lived in North and South Carolina, then moved to Tennessee. Henry Gerrard (b. 1630?) was born in England and came to Virginia sometime before 1656. He had at least three children. The surname later changed to Jarrett. Descendants of both lines live throughout the United States.

William (1744-1814) and Elizabeth (1738-1806) Welling and their family moved to Anne Arundel County, Maryland in the late 1700s (probably as Loyalists returning from Canada or England, after having left New York or elsewhere during the Revolution). Descendants listed lived chiefly in Maryland.

George Fay Brown (1823-1903) was born in Indiana and migrated to Oregon in 1847. He married Martha Ann Hines (1834-1907), a native of Cole County, Missouri, in 1850. They had eight children. He died at Dallas, Oregon. Descendants listed lived in Oregon and elsewhere.

Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Richard Pennington. He was born in Pennsylvania in 1748. He married Hannah Boone Stewart, widow of John Stewart, in 1777 in Rowan County, North Carolina. She was born 24 Aug 1746 in Exeter Township, Pennsylvania. He died 21 Dec 1813 in Sparta, Tennessee. She died 9 Apr 1828 in Barren County, Kentucky. They were the parents of four children.

Coleman Washington Younger was born March 21, 1848. His parents were Charles Younger and Jane Woolery. He married Sara Virginia Plummer (1856-1912) September 27, 1871 in Saline County, Missouri. They had ten children. Coleman died February 27, 1913 in Pettis County, Missouri.
