William Henry Marrott was born 1 February 1869 in Pleasant Grove, Utah. His parents were William Marrott and Louisa Fowlke. He married Effie Dean Bullock (1871-1933), daughter of Alexander Hill Bullock and Emily Caroline Harris, 2 May 1894 in Salt Lake City. They had five children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Utah, Scotland, Ireland and England.

Abraham Holmes was born in about 1683. He married Mary Morrison. They had three known children. They emigrated from Ahodonia, Londonderry, Ireland in 1719 and settled in Londonderry, New Hampshire. Abraham died in 1753. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York and Michigan.

John Douglas (1785-1869) and his brother, David, moved to Athens County, Ohio; they were of Scottish lineage and possibly immigrants. John married (1) Eleanor Shepherd and (2) Ruth McVey. John Adair was born in about 1753 in Ireland. He married Gahoga Lightfoot in about 1779. They had five children. He married Jean Kilgore in about 1790 in South Carolina. They had eleven children. He died in 1815 at Cane Creek, Pendleton District, South Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in South Carolina, Georgia and Oklahoma.

Chiefly the descendants of Jeptha Ginn and Penina Magee Ginn who were married in about 1787. Penina's parents, Jacob and Mary Scott Magee, were early settlers of Marion county, Mississippi. The 1800 census lists Jeptha Ginn as a head of household in Lancaster, South Carolina. By 1804 he was living in Washington county, Mississippi Territory and then on to Amite county, Mississippi Territory by 1810. The family is later listed in the 1816 census...
