Robert McLuckie was born in abot 1786 in Scotland. He married Margaret Turnbull, daughter of William Turnbull and Marion Livingston, in 1813 in Larbert, Stirling, Scotland. They had six children. Their son, William Thomas McLuckie (b. 1826), emigrated with his wife Mary Belle and children in 1852 and settled first in Maryland and then in Pennsylvania. John Lloyd, son of David Lloyd, was born in about 1575 and lived in Dolobran, Wales. He married Katherine Wynn, daughter of Humphrey Wynn and Mawd Pryce, in about 1599. They had two sons, Charles (1613-1657) and David. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Wales, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Indiana.
