James and Eleanor Cunningham McClenahen emigrated from County Donegal, Ireland, in 1762 and were living in Mahoning Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, by 1779. They were the parents of nine children born ca. 1758-ca. 1774. Their sons, Charles McClenahen (1760-1836) and John McClenahen (1772-1830), settled in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, ca. 1785. Most children and grandchildren lived in Pennsylvania.

Joshua Davidson was born 1 April 1753. He served in the American Revolution. He married Eleanor Beam, daughter of Jacob Beam and Barbara Fredligh, in 1784 in Washington County, Pennsylvania. They had nine children. He died in 1844. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ontario and Texas.

Brothers, Balser Sours, who died in December 1821 in Luay, Virginia, and Frederick Sours (ca. 1760-1832) may have been sons of Henry. Balser married Barbara Wise, who died after 1821. Their children were Barbara, Susanna, and Isaac. Frederick married Ann Mary Rudolph (ca. 1762-1847). Their children were Henry, Eva, Adam, Philip, Bathasar, and Anna Elizabeth.
