Abraham Henry Townsend (1841-1913), son of Abraham Henry Townsend, was born at Surrey, England. He married Mary Ann Bond (1841-1891) ca. 1865, daughter of John and Mary Ann Groom Bond. They immigrated to New Zealand in 1874. They are both buried in Addington Cemetery. Descendants lived in New Zealand and Australia.
