Phillip Goodbread, Jr. (ca. 1760-1839) was born in Orange Co., N.C. and died in Nassau Co., Florida. He was the son of Phillip and Catherine Goodbread of Rutherford Co., N.C. In 1785 he settled in Cumberland Island, Camden Co., Georgia. In 1835 he moved back to Nassau Co., Florida where he died. In 1785 he married Catherine Souder (b. ca. 1765).

The last will and testament of Jacob T. Goodbread, located in the Columbia County Courthouse in Florida. His first wife was Jane Dean. He remarried after she died to Nancy H. He and Jane were the parents of nine children. He and Nancy were the parents of one child. His will was written in 1863 and probated in 1868.

Ludwick Gutbrodt, his wife Christina Barbara and son, George arrived at Philadelphia on the ship "Samuel", 16 August 1731. Another son, Phillip, moved to Rutherford County, North Carolina.

Jesse Henson (b. ca. 1759) resided on the Holston River near the state line on the frontier of Virginia, when he joined the Revolution in September 1776. He was a son of William Henson Sr. of Virginia. He was married to Mary Goodbread. Jesse's brother, John (b. 1766), also a Revolutionary War soldier married Mary's sister, Jane Goodbread. William Henson, Sr. (ca.1725-1794) served in the Revolutionary War and moved from Virginia to Rutherford County, North Carolina. Descendants lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois and elsewhere.

Johann Ludwig Gutbrodt (1698-1776) married Anna Barbara Hövelbauer in 1722, and immigrated from Germany to York, Pennsylvania in 1731. Descendants changed the surname to Goodbread, and lived in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas and elsewhere.

Johann Ludwig Gutbrodt was born April 10, 1698 in Nordheim, Heilbronn, Wuerttemberg, Germany. His parents were Hans Phillip Gutbrodt and Anna Barbara Hovelbauer. He married Anna Barbara Christina Schickner April 28, 1722. They immigrated to America in 1731. They settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They had nine known children. Their son Phillip was born November 23, 1726 in Nordheim, Germany. He married Catherine and they had nine children....

John Snodgrass was born in 1736 in Ireland. He married Mary. Their children included James who was born in 1762 in Virginia. James married Ann Long. Their children included Rebecca, Margaret, Martha, Sarah, David, William, Mary Ann, Jean, James, Thomas, Elizabeth, Samuel and Joseph. Other localities include Tennessee, Kansas, Michigan, Oklahoma and Missouri.
