Description
Pisgah Church has existed as early as 1790 on the Otter River. It united with Peaks and New London Churches in the 1800's and was known as Pisgah and New London Church. The latest Pisgah Church was organized in 1931. Records give the location of the church as Pisgah, then Lowry until 1958 when it change to Goode.
New London Church was part of Peaks Church in the late 1700's. The exact separation date is unknown but it was separate by 1818. Around...

Sarah Goode was born 4 March 1822 in Abenhall, Gloucestershire, England. Her parents were George Goode and Selena Mary Ann Holder. She married Thomas Marshall in 1843. They had six children. Her husband died in 1853. She and her children emigrated in 1856 and settled in Ogden, Utah. She died in 1904 in Franklin, Idaho.

George Brown Goode was born February 13, 1851 and died September 6, 1896. He was the son of Francis Collier Goode and Sarah Woodruff Crane. Ancestry goes back to John Goode of Whitby who settled in Virginia before 1661. His father was born in Waynesville, Ohio. His mother descended from Jasper Crane who was one of the pioneers of Newark, New Jersey.

Andrew Watson Bridges was born 30 Jan. 1780, at Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. His wife, Eliizabeth Leah (1800-1888), was born in Stfford County, Virginia, and died in Franklin County, Missouri. They had ten children. He died in 1875. Descendants lived in Missouri, Texas, Kansas, California, and elsewhere.
Includes the Goode, Bagby, Walton, and other related families.

John Thomas Good and his wife were living in Union County, South Carolina, before 1755. They had five known children born ca. 1755-ca. 1762 in Union County. Descendants listed, chiefly descendants of their great grandson, William Henry Good (1832-1911) of Rutherford and Cannon Counties, Tennessee, lived in South Carolina, Tennessee, Louisiana, Texas and elsewhere. John Mansfield, son of Joseph Mansfield and Rebecca Vernon, was born in about 1799 in Etwall, Derbyshire, England. He married Annis Bates, daughter of Thomas Bates and Sarah Metcalf in 1822 in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England. Some of their descendants settled in Utah.
