Thomas Jones (1602-1680/1681) married twice, and immigrated in 1638 from England to Boston, Massachusetts, moving shortly to Hingham, Massachusetts. Jonathan Joy Case was born in 1773 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. His parents were William Case and Abigail Bell. He married Lucy Simmons (1777-1860), daughter of Constance Simmons and Silence, in about 1792. They had fourteen children. In 1801 they moved to Ontario County, New York. Jonathan died in 1860. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York, Michigan and Ohio.

William Quinby (b.ca.1600) is said to have been a grandson of Thomas Quinby of Farnham, England. William immigrated about 1638 with two sons, John and Thomas, and possibly other children, landed near Salem, Massachusetts and settling at Stratford, Connecticut.
