Mark Goodwin, was born 18 August 1906 in Philadelphia. He was the son of Clarence Brant and Charlotte Maria Sprouls Goodwin. He married Mary Briggs. He joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1949. He died in 1958 in Utah.

William McFarland was born and raised near Edinburg, Scotland. He immigrated to America and family's home in Virginia was probably in what is now Berkeley Co., West Virginia. All his children were born in that county between 1779 and 1790. He married Nancy Kilgore in 1777. She died in Ohio ca. 1841. Descendants live in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Texas, Kansas and elsewhere.
