Descendants of John Gorman, an Irish immigrant, who came to America before the Revolutionary War. His son, John Gorman (1773-1847) and wife, Mary (Sandusky) Gorman (d. 1852) lived in Cock Co., Tennessee. They were parents of eleven children born in 1802 through 1827. Some family members migrated to Alabama and Texas.

Antoni Sadowski (1669-1736) was born in Poland. He lost his first wife in the Great Northern War when Sweden invaded the Polish territory on the Gulf of Riga. He left Poland with his son Jonathan Jacob and settled in Scotland before their immigration to America. By the year 1709, Antoni and his son was living in New Jersey. William Mathis Waldon (ca.1845-1920) married Susan Voshery (ca.1845-ca.1872)and they had one child. In 1874, William married Prissila Palestine Nichols in Scott County, Arkansas. They had eight children. Descendants lived in South Carolina, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas and elsewhere.

Samuel Jackson Sr. was a Quaker descendant of Ralph Jackson, who was burned at the stake as a martyr in 1556 at Stratford, England. Samuel Sr. was born in Ireland, and immigrated to North Carolina. Samuel Jackson Jr. and his brothers, Jacob and John, all Quakers, moved from North Carolina to Rocky Fork, Ohio as early as 1801. Patrick J. O'Hare was born 14 March 1825 in Lurgankeel, Foghart, Louth, Ireland. He emigrated in 1850. He married Bridget Hanrahan 7 September 1863 in Amboy, Illinois. They had ten children. He died in 1907. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Illinois and Washington.
