Description
Andrew Greele (ca.1617-1697) immigrated to Salisbury, Massachusetts during or before 1638, and married Mary Moyse. Samuel Greeley (1716- 1785), direct descendant in the fourth generation, was the first to begin using Greeley as the surname spelling. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, Kansas and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.

Description
William Longfellow, son of William Langfellow, was born in 1650 in Horsforth near Leeds, Yorkshire, England. He emigrated in about 1673 and settled in Newbury, Massachusetts. He married Anne Sewall 10 November 1678. They had five children. William died while on an expedition to Quebec with Sir William Phipps in 1790. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
