Cleo Ardice Reviers was born in Minnesota in 1934. She married twice, to Anshavon Sanosyan and Bobbie Dale Shepard. She was the mother of two sons. She spent most of her life in California. Information and correspondence from throughout the United States on her French Canadian ancestry and American lines is included in these volumes. In 1855 Charles Green was the first of his family to sail for America; his brother, Henry, followed in 1858; Catharine, Gottlieb and Dorothea arrived in 1863; in 1865 their mother, Dorothea Goldstedt Green arrived in 1865 with two daughters and their families. The Greens settled in Mills County, Iowa. Two other children of the mother, Dorothea, remained in Germany.

Frederick Green was born ca. 1845. His children were born in Ellsborough, Murry County, Minnesota. His brother, August Green, was born ca. 1849 and came to America in 1871. He married Mary Nelson in Minnesota. Johan (John) Green was born in 1855. Their daughter, Pearl, was born in Minnesota. Descendants lived in Minnesota, Washington, and elsewhere.

Chiefly a record of the descendants and some ancestors of Richard Ratcliff who was born ca. 1614 in Whalley Parish, Lancashire, England, and died 7 November 1675. Joseph Downs was born 8 December 1865 in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England. His parents were Richard Downs (1833-1895) and Jane Davies (1832-1903). He married Rebecca Green (1862-1938), daughter of George Green (1828-1901) and Ellen Webb (1840-1918), in 1889. He died in Vancouver, British Columbia.
