Chiefly, a record of some ancestors of Winfield Scott Green, who was born in 1854 and lived in Tennessee. He was known as Scott and married first Dosha Isabelle Taylor. They had four children. After Dosha died, Scott married second, a widow, Frances Bryant Moore, who already had three young daughters. William Green was born in Norwood, Surrey, England ca. 1799. He emigrated to Australia in 1832 and married Mary Ann Shuttleworth, 14 November 1836, in Sydney, Australia. They moved to Akaroa, New Zealand, where Mary Ann died on 17 June 1851. After his wife's death, William Green moved to Australia where he died, 28 February 1871. His descendants live in Australia and New Zealand. Includes Williams, Alsop, Palmer, Crawford, and Hall.

Robert Coleman (ca. 1619-1689) immigrated to Virginia, ca. 1638 and settled in Gloucester County, Virginia. He and his wife, Elizabeth Grizzell, had six children. Descendants listed lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, Illinois, Texas and elsewhere. Daniel H. Baty was born in about 1795 in Kentucky or North Carolina. He married Nancy before 1819. They had eight children. They moved to Boone County, Indiana in about 1831. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Indiana, Missouri, Massachusetts and Virginia.

William Arney was born in England circa 1828. He immigrated to Australia in 1851. He married Hannah Ackford Usher in Adelaide, Australia in 1852. They had six children.
