Periodical for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Green(e) families in the United States. Some Greene progenitors came from England, Scotland and Switzerland. Early ancestors settled in Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, North Carolina, and elsewhere. Some Greene families belogn to the White River Band of the Northern Cherokee Nation, who migrated from Virginia, to North Carolina, to Georgia, to Tennessee and westward.

Clinton C. Potter (1849-1934), son of Lewis Potter (1810-1895) and Elizabeth Hagerman (1816-1893), was born in Warren County, Kentucky. He married Mary J. Dunn (1842-1936), daughter of Spencer Dunn and Mary Ann F. Carpenter, in 1879.. They had no children. Ancestors live mainly in Kentucky and Virginia.
