Sterling Chambers Pitts (1865-1936), a civil engineer, was born at Oswichee, Russell County, Alabama, the son of Samuel Hardy Pitts (1840-1907) and Margaret Ann Frances Whitehead Pitts (1842-1873). He married Mary Virginia McAfee (1872-1904) of Taliedago, Alabama, in 1897. They had three children, 1899-1903. The family moved to Tahlequah, Oklahoma in 1901. Mary Virginia died at Tahlequah. Description
Owen Biddle was born 1737 and lived in New Jersey. He was a great grandson of William Biddle and Sarah Kempe who both immigrated to America in the year 1681. Owen married Sarah Parke 29 September 1760. They lived in Philadelphia and were the parents of ten children, Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Delaware and elsewhere.
