Alexander Rosenbaum, son of Anthony Rosenbaum, was probably born in the Swatara region of present day Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Charaty, were probably married in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, in the early 1760's. They had eight children. The family moved to Rowan County, North Carolina, before 1778 and to Washington County, Virginia, between 1791 and 1793. He died in 1806. Peter Crosscloss Sr., son of Johan Adam Grosscloss and Elisabetha, was born 23 Feb 1730 in Miesau, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. He immigrated to America in May 1750 arriving in Philadelphia. He married Mary Magdalena Ott, daughter of Johann Jakob Ott and Elizabeth Keller, about 1756 in Pennsylvania. They had 7 children. Andrew Thompson (b. 1750-1760) was born in Ireland and immigrated to America in the early 1770s. He eventually settled in Wythe County, Virginia. He was the father of eight children. A number of his children remained in Wythe and surrounding counties. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Florida, Minnesota, Utah, Arizona, Canada and elsewhere.
