Description
John-Nicholas Strayer was born 8 October 1733 in Rheinland Pfalz, Germany. He died 5 March 1809 in or near Shepherdstown, Berkeley County, Virginia on the Warm Springs Road Plantation. He married Maria-Catherine Amendt, daughter of John-George Ament and Mary-Catherine Dietz, in about 1756 in York County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Illinois and Washington.
