John Clary, Jr. was born about 1684 in Maryland. Elizabeth Haly was born in 1687 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. They were married December 30, 1705. They had seven children, John died in 1728. Descendants and relatives lived in Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and elsewhere.

John Abshire Sr. was born in Pennsylvania. He went to Louisiana in about 1778 where he married Francis Hargraves (1762) in about 1779/80. They had 13 children. Francis was the daughter of Benjamin Hargraves Sr. and Rebecca Gwaltney of Virginia. Descendants and relatives of John and Francis Abshire lived mainly in Louisiana.

John Vandeveer Sr. (fl.1773-1784) lived in Rowan County, North Carolina during or before 1773, when he married Amelia Speer. They were granted land in Surry County, North Carolina in 1784. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and elsewhere.

Rufus Donald Simpson, son of Hugh Brown Simpson and Lucy Ann Williams, was born 3 Feb 1888 in Pike County, Indiana. He married Nellie Emeline Bradshaw, daughter of James Manson Bradshaw and Mary Ann Chambers, on 11 Apr 1922 in Warrick County, Indiana. They had 8 children. Joseph Ware of Monmouthshire, Wales, immigrated to America in 1675 as a member of John Fenwick's Coloney, most of whom were Quakers. They settled in southwestern New Jersey. He married twice and was the father of five children. He died in Salem County, New Jersey, in 1711. Descendants listed lived in New Jersey, Forida, and elsewhere. Early generations follow male lines only.

Andrew Jackson Cleveland, son of Micajah Cleveland (1765-1834) and Sarah Whaley (1777-1834), was born in 1798 in Fairfax, Virginia. He married Ann Tillett (1799-1860) in Harrison County, Kentucky in 1817. They had eleven children. He died in 1859 in Saline, Illinois.
