Description
Richard Warren (d. 1628) emigrated from London, with his family, on the "Mayflower" in 1620. Barton Warren was a direct descendant in the eighth generation, and the author was a direct descendant in another line in the tenth generation. Descendants listed lived chiefly in New England and New York.

Selah Woodworth (1750-1823) was a direct descendant in the fourth generation of Walter Woodworth, who emigrated in 1630 from England to Scituate, Massachusetts. Selah was born in Salisbury, Connecticut married Rebecca Dunham in 1773, and moved to Mayfield, Fulton County, New York. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Iowa, California and elsewhere.
