John Warford (ca. 1650-ca. 1699) emigrated from England and was admitted as an inhabitant of Eachester, New York, in 1680. He married twice and was the father of at least three children. He migrated to Baltimore County, Maryland, ca. 1688 and probably died there. His son, John Warford (ca. 1683-1769), was born at Mount Vernon, New York. He married Elizabeth Stout (ca. 1691-176_) ca. 1708 in Monmouth County, New Jersey. They had ten children, 1709-1731....

William Elder was born in 1707 in Prince George's County, Maryland to William Elder and Elizabeth Finch. He married Ann Wheeler, daughter of Richard Wheeler. They had five children. She died in 1739. William married Jacoba Clementina Livers, daughter of Arnold Livers and Hellen Gordon, 1 February 1742. They had seven children. He died 11 April 1775. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Maryland, Kentucky, Ohio and Illinois.
