Shirley Gail Brague was born 3 June 1927 in Sykes Ridge, Ohio. Her parents were Waldon Floyd Brague (1899-1961) and Marie Honora Fox (1901-1979). Her paternal grandparents were Levi Brady Brague (1872-1927) and Luella Zesiger (1879-1953). She married G. Howard Phillips 10 August 1946 in Columbus, Ohio. They had three sons, Kirk, Pat and Ted. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ohio and Pennsylvania. .

Peter Hartline was born 5 June 1788 probably in Germany and died 17 March 1837 in Franklin Township, Tuscarawas, Ohio. He married (1) Christena Palmer, daughter of George M. Palmer and Mary Houseman, 6 April 1817 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. She died 15 May 1826. Peter married (2) Regina Pfersich 3 July 1827. Descendants have lived mainly in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Michigan and Indiana.

Elijah Merryman (1770-1849) was born in Baltimore County, Maryland, possibly the son of George Merryman (1734-1823). He married Elizabeth Hartline (1782-1848) in 1800 in Taylor Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Probable ancestry traced to John Merryman from Herefordshire, England who came to Lancaster County, Virginia in 1645.

Jesse R. Tyson was born ca. 1805 (parents not listed). He married Rachel Wallace (birthdate and parents not listed) 6 Mar 1828 in Williamson County, Tennessee. Jesse died 28 Sep 1872 in Copiah County, Mississippi. Rachel died after 1890 in Copiah County. They were the parents of 8 children. Descendants have lived in Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida and elsewhere in the United States.

Johann Nicholaus Heinrich Kress was born 12 May 1721 in Steinau on the Road, Heßen-Nassau, Germany. His parents were Johannes Peter Kress, Sr. and Anna Elizabeth Muller. He married Catherine Eberhardt in about 1755 in Pennsylvania. They had twelve children. He died in about 1783 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
