Married Barbara Belinda Mills in 1853, six children. Married Martha Barrett in 1875. Moved his families to Mexico in 1885. Married Gertrudis Paes in 1888.

George Martin Haws was born in 1858 in Provo, Utah. He was among volunteers called by President Brigham Young to colonize Arizona. He traveled to Arizona with the family of his fiance Josephine Cluff. On the way to Arizona, the couple was sealed in the St. George Temple. Haws married two additional wives. Susan Ann Cluff and Etta Wall. The family moved to the Latter-day Saint colony, Colonia Juarez in Mexico.

Charles Spencer Haws was born August 23, 1892 in Teton, Idaho. His parents were Charles Henry Haws and Elizabeth Ann Richman. He married Zenna Dean Rawlins, daughter of Alma Frost Rawlins and Francis Loretta Huff. She was born July 10, 1892 in Lewiston, Utah and died August 25, 1985 in Newdale, Idaho. Charles died January 17, 1963 in Idaho Falls. Ancestors and descendants lived mainly in England, Idaho, and Utah.

Chloe Haws was born 2 February 1891 at Corrales Ranch in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico. Her parents were William Wallace Haws (1835-1895) and Martha Barrett (1859-1916). She married Heaton Lunt 12 June 1910. They had fourteen children. They left Mexico in 1917 and lived briefly in El Paso, Texas before settling in Duncan, Arizona. Chloe died in 1965 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Members of the MacBeans had settled first in Ulster and then traveled to America where they eventually settled in Kentucky.
