Johann Michael Wilheit was born in Schwaigern, Germany in 1671. He married Anna Maria Riflin in 1696. She died in childbirth in 1705. In 1706 he married Anna Maria Hengsteler. They immigrated to Virginia in about 1717. He died in Culpepper County, Virginia in 1762. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Arkansas, Illinois and elsewhere.

Capt. Adam Thorowgood, I (1603-1640) was the 7th son of Wm. Thorowgood of Norfolk, England and Anne Edwards, daughter of Henry Edwards, of Norwich. He immigrated to Virginia in 1621. He married Sarah Gookin and they had five children. Descendants lived chiefly in Lower Norfolk and Princess Anne Counties, Virginia.

William Harris Bryson was born in Ireland in 1853. He came to America with his family and settled in Illinois as a child. In married Mary Ann Keehler and they had nine children.
