Randolph Slack was born in about 1720 in Pennsylvania. He married Sarah Penn, daughter of John Penn and Mary in about 1743. They had seven children. He died in 1795 in Washington County, Kentucky. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Virginia, Indiana and Texas.

George Boone IV (1690-1753), a Quaker, immigrated from England to Abington, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, married Deborah Howell in 1713, and moved to Berks County, Pennsylvania.
