Joseph Hoenig (b.1900) immigrated in 1927 from Czechoslovakia to Brooklyn, New York, and married Billa Hirsch (a German immigrant) in 1936. The author was one of their children. Descendants lived in New York, New England, California and elsewhere. Includes many ancestors in Czechoslovakia, Austria, Germany and elsewhere. Includes many descendants who immigrated to England, Italy, Canada, Israel and elsewhere.
