Neils (Nels) Hansson Berge was born in 1869 in Norway and immigrated (with his parents) to Fort Worth, Texas. He became a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and moved to Murray, Utah. He married Mattie Mae Outhouse in 1902 and they settled in Benjamin, Utah. He died in 1915. William Eccles (1825-1903) married Sarah Hutchinson, and they became converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1863 the family emigrated from Scotland to Ogden, Utah. John Beals (ca. 1650-1726) emigrated from England in 1675 with the John Fenwick Company on the ship "Griffin". Tradition states that John Beals was a surveyor who helped William Penn lay out Philadelphia. He married Mary Clayton in 1682 in Chester Meeting, Pennsylvania. Descendants lived primarily in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Clarence Henry Whitley was born in Idaho in 1889. His family moved to Washington when he was a child. At 25 he married Hilda Gertrude Marks and they had four children. He died in 1971. This record tells of their ancestry, their siblings, and their descendants, many of whom still reside in Washington and the northwest. John Clary arrived in Maryland in 1677. His descendant, Daniel Clary (ca. 1710-ca. 1795) married Eleanor Deveron about 1710 and died in Newberry County, South Carolina. Descendants moved from Maryland into Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Virginia and thence south and west.

Descendants of John Beals (fl. 18th c.) through his daughter, Prudence, who married Richard Williams (d. 1781) in 1746 in Maryland. They moved to North Carolina between 1749 and 1755. Their descendants lived in North Carolina, Indiana, and elsewhere.
