John Higginson was living in Baltimore County, Maryland, in the 1720s and perhaps earlier. He and his wife, Anne, had at least three children, 1723-1733. He died in 1738. His grandson, Samuel Higginson/Hickerson was born between 1760 & 1770 in Baltimore County, the son of Samuel Hickerson (b. 1733). He married Mary Elizabeth? Tharp in Baltimore County in 1788. They had nine children, 1789-1814. The family was living in Liking County, Ohio, by 1810....

James Jackson Higginson, son of George Higginson and Mary Cabot Lee, was born 19 June 1836 in New York City. He married Margaret Bethune Gracie, daughter of Archibald Gracie, Jr. and Elizabeth Davidson Bethune, 11 November 1869 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. They lived in New York City and had five children. Descendants lived in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, California and elsewhere.

David Dann with his wife, Sarah Reed and daughter Dorcas immigrated from England to Michigan in 1852. Jonathan Martin Harris (1841-1882) and Dorcas were married in 1867. Their son William David Harris married Alice Fewkes, daughter of Thomas Henry Fewkes and Harriet Clark, in 1893. They lived in Summit County, Utah. Descendants include members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
