Mathias Weiss was born 15 Feb. 1709 at Muhlhaused, and was recieved in the Moravian Church at Herrnhaag, Germany, 6 January 1742. He married Maria Margaretha Catharina Firnhaber (1720-1756) at 27 27 May 1743. They immigrated to America in 1743 and settled in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. They had six children.
