George Fox, son of John Fox, was born in 1817 in Newton-upon-Trent, Lincolnshire, England. He married Elizabeth Freeling (1823-1889), daughter of Thomas Freeling and Ann Taylor. They had twelve children. He died in 1886 in England. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England and Wisconsin.
