John Hodgkin, son of john Hodgkin and Elizabeth Gibbs, was born 11 Feb. 1766. He lived in Pentonville and Tottenham. On 1 May 1793, he married Elizabeth Rickman. They had four sons, but only two reached adulthood (Thomas and a second son named John). John died 29 Sept. 1845. His ancestors lived in Shutford and Shipston. Robert Jordan was baptized 12 January 1611 in Worcester, England. His parents were Edward Jordan and Elizabeth Broughton. He married Sarah Winter, daughter of John Winter and Joane Boaden, in January 1643/44 on Richmond Island, Cumberland, Maine. They had six children. He died 28 July 1679 in New Castle, New Hampshire. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Minnesota and California.
