Daniel Hoff was born in 1746 probably in New Jersey or Virginia. He married twice and had seven children. Material concerning the descendants of each of these children is given in these volumes. Descendants now live in Texas, Iowa, Missouri, and elsewhere.

Chiefly a record of Lorenz (Lorentz, Lawrence) Hoff (Hooff) who was born (ca.1710) in (Palatinate, Germany). He married his first wife Susanna. They were the parents of six children. He married Anna Margaretha Muschler on 24 Oct. 1749 in Lancaster, Pa. She was born June 18, 1726 and died October 6, 1811. Lorenz died in 1779 in Alexandria, Va. Descendants live in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and elsewhere.

Kevin Glade Hoff was born in Chicago, Illinois, son of Ramon Brewster Hoff (born 1935 in Warren, Pennsylvania) and Gloria Thelma Albuerne y Rodriguez. Hoff ancestry is traced to Powell Hoff, son of Amos and Prudence (Powell) Hoff. He married Martha Brewster in 1824 in Marietta, Ohio. He later died in Dallas County, Iowa.
