Johannes Knetzger (1801-1876) was born in Dormitz-Graefenberg, Germany. He married Katherine Hoffman in Bavaria and they immigrated to America in 1842. They settled north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They were the parents of five children. Descendants live in Wisconsin, Illinois and Missouri.

Heinrich P. Kisker (1855-1926) and Wilhelmina Johanna Helling (1865-1930) both came to America in 1883 from Borgholzhausen, Germany. They settled in Nebraska where they were married in 1886. Both died in Red Willow County, Nebraska. Henry was the son of Peter Henry Kisker and Katherine Marie Horstmannshoff. Johanna was the daughter of Peter Heinrich Helling and Catherina Elsebeing Scheele. Many of their descendants settled in Colorado.

George Carrothers served in the Revolutionary War, and married Jane Workman. Their only son, Samuel Carrothers (1780-1865), was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania, and married Mary Dye in 1802. They moved to Richland County, Ohio. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa and elsewhere.
