Johan Jacob Holbein (anglicized to Jacob Holben) was born in 1718 and immigrated via Rotterdam to Philadelphia in 1742. He married Catherine Weiss and settled in Weisenberg Township, Lehigh (then Bucks) County, Pennsylvania. He died in 1794.
