The earliest Peeler ancestor was Johannes Buller, who came to Philadelphia, via London, from Germany in 1727. His son, Michael Bueler, moved to Rowan County, North Carolina from Pennsylvania in 1748. All of his children used the surname Peeler. George Walter Peeler (1895-1970) married Carrie May Holshouser (1896-1983) in 1920. Johann Wendel Wyant was born 14 July 1709 in Freinsheim, Germany. His parents were Jakob Wiand (1679-1719) and Anna Kathrina Magsamen. He emigrated in 1729. He married Johanna Margaretha Fisher (1712-1775) in 1735 in Goshenhoppen, Pennsylvania. They had eleven children. Johann died in 1787 in Montgomery, Pennsylvania. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, Pennsylvania and North Carolina. .

Johannes Ehrenhardt was born in about 1689 in the Palatinate, Germany. His father was Johan Counrath Ehrenhart. Johannes married Anna Margaretha Funchen in about 1688 Ilbesheim, Bavaria, Germany. They had two sons. He married Anna Sybilla Taubin in 1721. They had eight children. He emigrated in 1744 with his son Johan Philip Ehrenhardt and settled in Pennsylvania.
