Hazel Hotchkiss was born 20 December 1886 in Healdsburg, California. Her parents were W. J. Hotchkiss and Emma Grove. She married George Wightman.

Robert Russell was born 13 March 1811 in Loftus, England, son of Thomas Russell and Sarah Grainge. He married Sarah Charlton/Adamson 21 May 1833 in Port Hope, Canada. They immigrated to Cannan, Wayne, Ohio. He died 1 June 1888 in Caanan, Wayne, Ohio. Sarah died 22 Oct 1871 in Caanan, Wayne, Ohio. They had nine children.

George Pardee (1620-1700) immigrated from England to New Haven during or before 1644, and married Martha Miles in 1650. Descendants lived chiefly in New England, New York, Delaware and the midwest.

Sara Olive Cowley (1890-1982) was the daughter of Orio Stevens Cowley (1850-1919), who was born in New York and Lucy Ann Hawley, born in Oakland County, Michigan. Hotchkiss and Mallory line is traced back to the 5th century. (Hulda Hotchkiss, born in 1774 in Waterbury, Conn., daughter of Jesse Hotchkiss and Charity Mallory, married Jonathan Cowley).

Roger Alling (1612-1674), son of James Allen and Margaret Coppin, emigrated about 1638 from Kempston, Bedford County, England to New Haven, Connecticut, and married Mary Nash about 1642. John Alling Sr. (1647-1717), a son, married Susanna Coe, served in the state legislature, and was a judge in county and city affairs. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa and elsewhere.
