John Beebe (d. 1650) married Rebecca Ladd about 1627. The family emigrated from England to join two sons (John and Samuel) in New London, Connecticut. John, Rebecca and one daughter died at sea. James Stephenson was born November 4,1749 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of James and Jane (Buchanan) Stephenson. He died August 15, 1810 and is buried at Shilo Cemetery in Nicholas County, Kentucky. He married Elizabeth Caldwell, December 25, 1781. He was taken prisoner by the Revolutionists, and later served in their army. He married Mary Magdalena Bower, and settled in Washington County, Maryland. Willam Bracken (167_-1749), probably a native of Lancashire, England, immigrated to America, arriving at Philadelphia in 1699. He was living near Red Clay Creek, New Castle County, Delaware, by 1702.
