William Cornwell was born in Hertfordshire, England ca. 1610. He immigrated to Roxbury, Massachusetts, ca. 1633. He married Joan. She died 1636 or 1637. He married Mary probably in Hartford, Connecticut, 1637 or 1638. They were the parents of one known child. He died 21 Feb 1678 in Middletown, Connecticut. Descendant Leland A. Cornwell (1893-1965) married Mabel Emily Howe (1900-1976) and they are the parents of the author.

John White (ca. 1602-1673) was baptized in South Petherton, Somerset, England. He married Joan (1606-1654), daughter of Richard and Maudlin Staple-Cooke West, 1627 in Drayton Parish, Somerset. They lived in Drayton for awhile with their two oldest sons before immigrating to Salem, Mass. in 1639. They later moved to Wenham and to Lancaster. They were the parents of nine known children. Hans (Jr.) was born ca 1715 in Reudern Germany. He married Barbara, who was born 1718 in Reudern, Germany. They immigrated to the United States in 1749. They were the parents of seven children.
