Chiefly a record of some of the descendants and family members of Hans Jurgen Besemer. He was the son of Hans Jurgen Besemer who was born ca. 1680 in Wuerttenburg, Germany. Hans (Jr.) was born ca 1715 in Reudern Germany. He married Barbara, who was born 1718 in Reudern, Germany. They immigrated to the United States in 1749. They were the parents of seven children. Descendants lived in New York, Arizona, Michigan, California, and elsewhere.

Thomas Wilder (d.1667), with his brother Edward (1623-1690), emigrated from England to Lancaster, Massachusetts, where Thomas married Anna Eames in 1640. His mother and the rest of the family emigrated also, probably later. Descendants and relatives lived in New England New York, the Midwest and elsewhere.

John Howe came to America from England in 1638. He was born in 1602 and died about 1680 in Massachusetts. He had at least six children and his wife's name was Mary. He was one of the original Howe family immigrants who came to America. These volumes give selected material and references to new material on many members of the Howe clans. The Mathew Bristow Family Organization was founded in 1967. The name was changed to Wheelwright Family Organization when incorporated (1970) with its headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. The family organization is comprised of numerous branches throughout the western states headed by vice-presidents representing descendants of each of the children of M.B.
