Bulletin for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the families descended from John Esplin and Margaret Webster Esplin. John Esplin (1828-1895) joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and left Scotland for Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Margaret Webster in 1853. They settled at Nephi, Utah and later moved to Orderville, Utah. Descendants lived in Arizona, California, Idaho, Utah, and elsewhere.

Chiefly, a record of nine generations of descendants of Matthias St. John, Sension, or Sention who was born in England, came to Dorchester, Massachusetts in 1631-32, and was made a freeman there, on September 3, 1634. Matthias moved to Windsor, Connecticut in 1640. In 1654 he moved to Norwalk, Connecticut. Matthias and his wife, who's name is unknown, had at least four children. Matthias died in October or November 1669.

William Gerrish was born 20 August 1617 in Bristol, Somerset, England. His parents were John Gerish and Anne. He marrried Joanna Lowell, daughter of Percival Lowle, in 1645 in Newbury, Massachusetts. They had ten children. Elizabeth Gerrish, who married Walter Price (1613/14-1674), was probably William Gerrish's sister. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts and Maine.

Joseph Mecham was born 15 June 1780 in Canaan, Grafton, New Hampshire. His parents were Samuel Mecham and Phebe Main. He married Sarah Basford (1772-1838), daughter of Jonathan Basford and Sarah or Rachel, 6 September 1801. They had six children. Joseph died in 1845 in Nauvoo, Illinois.
