Henry Huffman was born about 1773-1776 in Pennsylvania. He died about 1864 Wea Township, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. His first wife's name is unknown. They had seven children. His second wife is Mary "Polly" Roof, born about 1795 in Virginia. She died 1859 in Tippecanoe, Indiana. They had one child. They primarily lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana.

James Elsey was born in about 1799 in England. He married in England and had five children. The first two were born in England. They emigrated in about 1828 and settled first in New York and then in Michigan. James died 24 September 1876 in Howell, Michigan. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Michigan.
