George Davis was born 28 March 1804 in Kentucky. He married Blanche Shain, daughter of John Shain and Mary A. Turpin, 18 September 1834 in Sangamon County, Illinois. They had nine children. George died in 1888 in Harrison County, Missouri. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Missouri, Oregon and Washington.

Jacob M. (Mathias?) Weik (1756-1835) was "...born most likely in Pennsylvania, the son of a German immigrant..." He married Susannah Moir (Myers) in 1783 and died in Lincoln (now Catawba) County, North Carolina. Descendants lived in most of the United States.
