Robert Harold Hunsaker was born in Arkansas in 1919. He married twice, to Edith Powell and later to Edna Shull. He was the father of two children. He was very interested in genealogy and this volumes include information on his ancestral lines, other Hunsaker lines and related lines as well as material on his descendants. The descendants of Abraham Hunsaker (1812-?) of Utah trace their ancestry to Hartmann Hunsaker who arrived in Philadelphia, Pa. in 1731 with a wife and six children. It is believed that he came from the area of Aarau, Canton of Aargau, Switzerland, via the Palatinate, Holland and England. His descendants live throughout the United States.

Thomas Harper (1829-1899) emigrated from Yorks, England to Keokuk, Iowa via New Orleans in 1853. In 1854, he married Hannah Jane Jones (1836-1922) and in 1883, he married Rachel Stapleton Lewis (1866- 1946). They lived in Bountiful and Calls Fort before moving to Albion, Idaho.
