Description
David Schalliol was born in Germany in 1824. He and his wife, Margaret Elizabeth Hauptreif, had three sons and a daughter, 1849-1863. The family immigrated to the United States in 1853 and settled first in Holmes County, Ohio. They moved to a farm in Madison Township, St. St. Joseph County, Indiana, in 1861. He died there in 1892. Descendants lived in Indiana and elsewhere.
Includes the Hunsberger, Klein, Smith and other related families.

John Krause Kulp was born in Pennsylvania in 1851. He married Hannah Keyser in 1875 andn they had 6 children. Information on many of their descendants is included in this volume. Many of his descendants still reside in Pennsylvania as well as elsewhere in the United States.

John Valentine Kratz (1707-1780), Mennonite son of John Philip Kratz, immigrated in 1727 from Germany to Salford Township, Philadelphia (now Montgomery) County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, Ohio, Missouri and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.

Thomas McIntire Jr. was born 1775/6 was the son of Thomas McIntire and Mary Bailey. He married Mary Ann Dick, daughter of Peter Dick and Mary Aldridge in 1800 in Virginia. They moved to Champaign County, Ohio. One descendant, Schuyler Colfax McIntire (1865-1956) married Nora Alice Barrett (1872-1929) in 1891. Work is primarily a history of reunions.

John Singer was born in 1766 in Pownal, Vermont. His father was probably Abraham Singer. He fought with the British Army in the Revolutionary War and moved to Ontario after his father was killed. John married, had two children and settled in Clinton Township. He married again in 1795. His wife was Susannah Overholt, daughter of Staats Overholt. They had eleven children.
