Johan Theobold (Dewalt or Devault) Hunsucker (1744-1822) immigrated with his parents (Johannes Hunsicker and Maria Magdalena Bierre) in 1748 from Switzerland to Philadelphia. The family settled at Heidelberg Township in Bucks (later Northampton, now Lehigh) County, Pennsylvania. Abraham Knerr was born ca. 1717 in Zweibrucken in the German Palatinate. He immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1741. Both he and his wife, Mary Eva (born 1713), are buried in Unionville, Pennsylvania. Valentin Alt immigrated to Pennsylvania from the Palatinate area of Germany. He eventually settled in York County, Pennsylvania in 1755 where he died.
