Family history of Stephen Wall Inman and Florence Iva Dickson. Stephen was born in 1888 in Wright County, Iowa. He married Florence 9 June 1914 in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was born in 1884 in Story County, near Collins, Iowa. Stephen died in 1961 and Florence died in 1966. They had three children: Wallace (b. 1916), Lydia (b. 1918) and Ann (b. 1920).

Jan Gerrit Van Immen (d. ca. 1706) immigrated from The Netherlands to New Jersey during or before 1654, and later moved to Delaware. Descendants lived in Delaware, New Jersey, and elsewhere. Most descendants listed spelled their Vanaman.

Matilda Taylor Inman was born June 12, 1789 in Washington Co., Tennessee to Major Parmenas Taylor and Elizabeth (Betty) White. She died Jan. 1, 1864 in Dubois Co., Indiana. She married Ezekial Inman, in 1805, in Washington Co., Tennessee. They settled in Franklin Co., Alabama where Ezekial died about 1825. William Lewis Hutton, son of Isaac Hutton and Mahala Payton, was born in 1849 or 1850 in Martin County, Indiana. He married Margaret Huff Sargent in 1867 and they had four children.
